Brent McCall, an old cell mate of Michael Liebowitz and who is now a regular on the show, talks about the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests, riots, and looting. McCall is the author of the book Down the Rabbit Hole, with Michael Liebowitz, and is on his third decade of incarceration in Connecticut.

Newspaper man Tom Shattuck joins us to debate the Atlanta shooting. Is Tom right that police should have known that the victim was not a risk because he had taken a taser that had already been fired, or is Todd right that police need leeway to protect themselves and the public safe and can't be held to a standard of perfection?

Community activist Stan McCauley is a former candidate for Mayor of Hartford who has his own ideas about reforming urban politics in the wake of the killing of George Floyd. His thoughts are similar to those of Bishop Selders, perhaps, but framed in a different way so that the two interviews work well in tandem.
