They can be reused for many other important jobs such as carrying lunch to work, picking up dog poop or wrapping garbage. Besides, how much better might paper bags be for the environment considering how much bigger and bulkier they are to produce, transport and recycle? Most listeners share Todd's love of plastic, although a former schoolteacher reminded us not to forget about the joys of making bookcovers and Halloween masks using paper bags.
