However, under a second Trump administration there may be changes affecting trade and tariff policies. International Trade Consultant at the Small Business Development Center of the University of Wisconsin-Superior Chris Wojtowicz joins the show to help explain what opportunities and challenges we may face with a second Trump term.

John Diedrich, investigative Reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel joins Kristin and Brian to talk about his newest chapter titled “unintended” from his investigative “Behind the Gun.” This new chapter focuses on unintentional shootings involving children in Wisconsin, Diedrich shares more about what he uncovered with is reporting, what’s happening to prevent these tragic incidents, and how this impacts certain communities within the state.

Domestic Violence has been steadily growing over the last two decades. When advocating for the victims of this violence a lot of the focus goes towards the people being affecting but many aren’t aware that pets can also be harmed. Safe Haven Foster Program is an initiative that aims to help find foster homes for victim’s pets to they can leave abusive situations. The Wisconsin Humane Society and Sojourner Family Pace Center has partnered together to create the initiative and CEO and President of Sojourner, Carmen Pitre joins the show to tell Kristin and Brian more about it.

local Wood Artist Ike Wynters, joins the show to talk about his journey becoming an artist, his interest in woodworking, the process behind creating his work and recent national attention since being featured on “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt”.

President of the Wisconsin Policy Forum, Jason Stein joins Kristin and Brian add to the conversation regarding ACT 10. As a co-author of the book “More Than They Bargained For: Scott Walker, Unions and the Fight for Wisconsin” Stein is clued in on all things surrounding the law, and give smore insight on the impact, both good and bad, that the ACT 10 has done in Wisconsin.
