  • Episode 62 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Rob and Kennedy

Rob and Kennedy are the most unlikely entrepreneurs you'll ever meet. Sporting hairstyles that look like comic-book characters and backgrounds in psychology, hypnosis, and show-business – it's hard to believe they're serial entrepreneurs with an uncanny knack for building businesses with riotous email marketing.

Rob and Kennedy will share with you how to create email marketing campaigns like those ‘choose your own adventure' stories you loved as a kid. And how to do it simply too. Rob and Kennedy will tie the topic to the style and topic of your audience to make it as valuable and relevant to them as possible.

They leave us with two pieces of personal advice:

"I'm not going to put off the things I want to do today because I don't think I'm ready for it. Just to just go for it."

"It's not important to have the answers. It's only important to have the right questions because that's the way you grow."

  • Episode 61 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Kathryn Binkley, Business Strategist and Mindset Coach

This episode of No Labels, No Limits podcast features Kathryn Binkley, a business strategist and mindset coach on a mission to help female entrepreneurs live their best lives by creating wildly profitable businesses.

After 10 successful years in the marketing agency world, Kathryn ventured out to truly take control of the impact she could have on women craving success, flexibility, happiness, and financial freedom. And she hasn’t looked back since. Now, Kathryn spends her days helping women move past their mindset blocks, plan and implement strategies that drive results and unlock their true potential waiting to be shared with the world.

She speaks on limiting beliefs and mindset when she says, "We often limit ourselves due to things we accept as "facts" when in reality those are stories we've told ourselves and come to believe were true. When we do this we're truly limiting our potential and dumbing down our dreams, but when you get rid of those stories you realize that even though you thought you were playing big, you can play much bigger!"

  • Episode 60 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Ayn Cates Sullivan, mythology and folklore author

We welcome our guest, Ayn Cates Sullivan, to our podcast today. Ayn is an incredibly successful, award-winning, best-selling author of many books on the topic of mythology and folklore for the modern age, including Heroines of Avalon & Other Tales and Legends of the Grail: Stories of Celtic Goddesses.

When asked her if there was a difference between the journey of a hero and a heroine. She replied, “A hero has to find his strength. He's going to ride into the underworld and he's going to grab the hallows that he needs and he's going to come back with them. On a heroine's journey, we’re not slaying dragons. What we're doing is we're going to the place where the dragon resides and we're going to listen to the dragon. We're going to befriend the dragon, which can mean all kinds of things. The heroine has to become sensitive.”

  • Episode 59 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with David Speed, Creative Graffiti Artist and Podcast Host

Another unique guest today! I’d like to introduce David Speed, the founder of Graffiti Life; a creative company that makes art of all kinds for big brands, both inside and out. The company was created with the mission of empowering artists and creatives, which remains a core value to this day. He is also the host of the 'Creative Rebels' podcast, providing the next generation of creatives with tangible advice to turn their passion into a career, which debuted at #1 in the iTunes business charts.

David’s interview was so interesting and he gives us some background and bits of advice on the origin of his creativity. He says, "Creativity is problem-solving. And that's where my creativity has come from. It's a habit. It's practice and it's just something that I've worked on and cultivated over a long period. That's the other thing, people get disheartened when they don't see progression quick enough. It's just having that blind faith in knowing 'if I continue, I will get better'. I think most people just don't have what it takes to just keep going on that track. That is part of my mission - to just tell people to just keep going. The people that keep going, they are the ones that win. Simple as that, in business, in art, in everything."

“Your journey, every step that you take, gets you to where you are. Our failures have made us stronger, make us longer vulnerable in those areas where we failed in the past because we've been able to learn from our mistakes in the dark. If you keep going, great things will come.”

  • Episode 58 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Carol Hampton Rasco, Non-Profit Leader and Child Advocate

It's been a pleasure to interview today's guest, Carol Hampton Rasco, who I met back when she was working in The White House during the Clinton campaign. She has such a vast array of experiences, from being a teacher to her time in politics to advancing to the role of CEO. She has since retired, leaving more time to embrace reading and committing to the arts and policy issues of the disabled.

She gave us a few words of wisdom during her interview. "A very wise professor said to me, if you are going to work with children and families, you need to first teach school." She took that advice, got her teaching degree and taught and counseled children and never looked back.

When asked about a lesson she learned at a young age, it was her grandmother that had the most influence saying, "I have found that if you put on your best manners and always wear a smile...if you just remained calm and wear a big smile, you can do a lot of things in life."

Her parting words are, "Whether like in my case you have a child with a disability, you work for in a political atmosphere and bear the brunt of all that entails or head a national non-profit that has the bottom fall out due to funding cuts, follow your passion!"

    (Get your COPY here: https://www.passiveincomemillionairebook.com/get-your-copy?affiliate_id=1515692)

He leaves us with a key piece of advice, "The biggest thing to tell anyone is just get started. Don't hesitate, don't hold back, your future's ahead of you. And it's going to arrive a lot quicker than you imagined. People say, 'I wish I would've known this when I was five years old.' Well, the truth of the matter is you can't do much about that, but you can start today, which will at least put you farther ahead tomorrow than you ever thought that."

  • Episode 56 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Claudette Rowley, Trusted Advisor, CEO and Author

Claudette Rowley is our guest today on No Labels, No Limits podcast. She is the CEO of Cultural Brilliance, a cultural design and change management consultancy and the author of Cultural Brilliance: The DNA of Organizational Excellence (2019). Over the past twenty years, Claudette has helped organizations resolve complex problems in ways that honor the intelligence of their cultural system and the brilliance of their people. She also hosts a globally syndicated radio show, Cultural Brilliance Radio.

Claudette defines culture as, "mindsets, behaviors, and structures that sequence and patterns that are often unseen and these patterns drive communication, decision making and results in organizations. I look at culture at three levels: mindset, behavior, and structure. Because when we're trying to shift culture, those are the three levels you want to look at."

Join us today as she shares her journey and some key pieces of advice on navigating a toxic environment when she says, "Really trust yourself and trust your impressions and experiences, and trust your gut, your intuition. I think that's why sometimes in toxic cultures, we start mistrusting ourselves and accepting that what we are experiencing is accurate for us. Then, in terms of talking to a manager about it, start by really preparing, getting clarity on your message you want to communicate. Also, when you're trying to communicate an important message, you want to be calm, collected, and have your messages and your examples communicate that."

  • Episode 55 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Melinda J. Kelly, author and speaker

In today's episode of our No Labels, No Limits podcast we interview a very special author, speaker, and supporter of multiple non-profit organizations. Melinda J. Kelly joins us and shares her insights on diving deep within.

On the topic of finding your passion, your career path, "Just because you’ve always done something, is it what you want to continue doing? And even if you’re good at something, is it what you want to continue? Those were really hard questions."

"We get herded, we get directed by other peoples expectations or thoughts. Too often we're chasing, not sure what we’re chasing, but we get that sense of - if we get there, we will be happy and it all be OK. Somewhere along the way, we lost ourselves and our sense of what’s going on and our happiness. At any time we have the ability and power to re-define, re-decide what our life can and will be."

  • Episode 54 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Cheryl Mayberry McKissack, Business Leader, Author and Speaker

We welcome today's guest Cheryl Mayberry McKissack, a woman of many talents. She is a professional speaker, author, and teacher. You may have heard of the Kellogg School of Business - she was a Professor there. Among her many positions held, she was the CEO at Ebony, a VP at US Robotics, and is the current CEO and Founder of Nia Enterprises.

She leaves our listeners with a piece of great advice when she says, "Regardless of what you're doing, whether you're working for a nonprofit, whether you're working for a corporation or you're an entrepreneur, is that everyone needs to think like an entrepreneur. What I mean by that is that the skills and characteristics that entrepreneurs have, whether it be their purpose, their passion, innovation, ability to take risks, desire to grow, those are all things that I think each of us can really put into our personal lives."

With her multitude of experiences, she came to a few revelations. "I found that I wanted to have diversity in all aspects of my life. In the relationships that I had, the friends that I had, the organizations that I participated in because I don't think that I'm just about one thing. I think most of us are just about one thing. I think we're all pretty diverse in our likes and dislikes and our wants and our needs. We're really responsible for making sure that we create our own lifestyles that allow us to do that. And so you have to ask yourself some really important questions."

Listen in as today's guest, Sherri-Lee Woycik, shares her very personal story and how she went from being in complete shock to taking action that has now propelled her, her family and her business forward.

When asked how she made hard choices and she says, "It's a choice. First, you have to decide that what you've got it isn't working and you're not going to sit and complain about it anymore...you're not going to live feeling the way you are feeling in this situation. So you're going to want to change it and do something different. It might be days or weeks or months before even the first step of action is taken, but before that is the mental work that you need to do...Choosing a step one. It's the action that matters."
