Brandon welcomes back Kyle for another episode to talk about their faith. From the last episode, Kyle goes a bit deeper in his mental health journey coming back from the Philippines. He starts by discussing failing his nursing class at 7:25. This took a toll on him, as well he discussed about his family’s passing. With his life stressors from school and his family, he opened up about trying to take his own life at 14:15. But as a person of faith, God had other plans. On this subject, Brandon talks about his faith and how it’s apart of his lifestyle at 22:04. Furthermore, Brandon speaks with Kyle about why having faith is important while going through things at 26:19. In addition, Brandon talks about having hope when things feel overwhelming in life 34:35. At the end, Brandon and Kyle both end it off with some spiritual encouragement for those that struggle with feeling alone 40:33.

We are BACK people. We missed y’all. Life was definitely life’ing, but we’re back to give y’all what you need. On this episode, Brandon discusses with his brother from another mother, Kyle, on his journey coming back to the US from the Philippines (6:50). While being out there, Kyle talks about his cousin’s passing (16:45), and how he used people around him to distract him from his pain. Then, Brandon expresses how checking in on people with accountability is the key to a healthy relationship (22:30). Lastly, being friends for over 20 years, they both discuss the importance of understanding your definition of being a good person and friend (31:30).

The nugget for the day: Think about those who support you in your times of need. Consider how you can offer meaningful support that lets them know how much you care and how much they matter, no matter how “strong” they seem.

The big 3 is back together for the 1st time in a long time and this time, they didn't come alone.  They brought their childhood friend, Kyree on this very special episode. 

Kyree starts things off by speaking on his experience with fatherhood (2:37). That leads to the other guys getting into whether they are ready to be fathers. Brandon and Ian are back again and they're joined by Brandon's childhood friend Jiyon Ruffin for a very special episode. 

Jiyon starts things off by talking about his fitness journey (3:46) and how it was intentional. He also talks about the significance of being conscious of your health (13:01). The guys then get into a serious discussion about health being a priority and importance in the Black community with some stats that Jiyon drops (19:55). In this episode, Brandon and his great grandma discuss her life and tribulations she has faced in her 98 years of living. The guys go back to the basics on this important and special episode. 

Ian starts things off by sharing that he has General Anxiety Disorder and his recent experiences in therapy after he was diagnosed (1:50). Happy New Year y'all! (Can we still say that?)

To kick off 2024, we have to take a slight step back to 2023 to commemorate our 3 year anniversary. That said, thank you to everyone who has listened to an episode and even shared one.

Keeping up with their yearly tradition, the guys speak on their words for the year (2:32). The guys are back with Steven once again for another jam packed episode. Since it's been a long time since our last episode, the guys recapped their Thanksgiving and what they did with their families when this time of year rolls around (1:05).
