We’re very fortunate to have the right to speak our faith freely without any legal consequence in our country. You may experience ridicule, and in some cases, standing up for the truth of Christ could cost you a job or position, but we don’t have to fear arrest or death as a result of sharing our faith. While it’s hard for us to fathom the amount of pressure that Christian martyrs have faced through the years, it’s important for us to weigh that cost. If it came down to it, would you be willing to give your life for the sake of sharing the Gospel? It’s something we should all aspire to as devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
