No Simple Road

Andy Frasco of Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Andy Fraso’s World Saving Podcast joins the No Simple Road Crew on The Porch for a morning filled with laughs, unexpected therapy, and creating connection. We talk candidly about addiction & getting it together, making choices based on what we think we’re supposed to do rather than what we want, Andy’s new album ‘Change Of Pace’, and why we are only just now finding out we should have been friends a long time ago.

Andy Frasco & the U.N.’s performances have been described as a "boisterous blend of harmonic funk and jazzy influences, all topped with boundless energy". Frasco frequently calls additional guest musicians to join his band on stage during sets, as well as fans. Shows are highly improvisational featuring impromptu “battles” between band members, who graciously hop off stage into the crowd to contest their instrumental fortitude against one another in a sporting display of individual musicianship. Frasco's shows are also highly interactive, often stopping the show to speak directly to audience members, as well as invite people in the audience up on stage.

Do yourselves a favor and got to: andyfrasco.com for tour info, news, and merch and then go listen to Andy Frasco’s World Saving Podcast on Apple Podcasts or anywhere podcasts stream.

Guitarist Craig Marshall from Cubensis stops by to talk about his journey into the world of the Grateful Dead and having the music play the band. Since 1987, Los Angeles-based band Cubensis has carried the torch in celebration of one of America’s most beloved touring bands, the Grateful Dead. Cubensis sets out to re-create the Grateful Dead experience by emulating the spirit of Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, and the rest of the legendary San Francisco jam band. Cubensis plays complete shows covering all eras of the Grateful Dead, and no night is ever the same. Cubensis is far more than just your standard cover band as they bring the magic and sounds to those longing for the live vibe that only the Grateful Dead was able to deliver.

We talk about the magick of the music and its lasting resonance in the world, having the music choose you to be a part of the ride, tapping into the spiritual flow, and a tone more! This a a heartfelt, sweet, and revealing look at one of the founding members of one of the most celebrated Grateful Dead tribute bands. You're gonna dig it!!!

This one wasn’t planned. Sometimes in life the most beautiful things come out of events that we had absolutely no idea were going to occur. Stuff get’s real this morning as Alex and Aaron sit down for some early morning coffee and smoke and quickly realize they needed to be recording what they were discussing. Not long after Ryder joins the mix and drops some heavy stuff on them. This is a live therapy session with the No Simple Road Crew, unedited, raw, unfiltered, and real. We hope you dig it.

If you’re ever in need of an ear to bend always remember that this is a Family and we are all here for each other… you can email us a [email protected] or head over to our REDDIT for some love from your Brothers and Sisters.
