Kendra continues with Part Three of _?__ :The case of Marybeth Tinning who had 9 children, between the ages of 11 days and 4 1/2 years old, that all died over the course of 14 years. Part Three will cover the Tinnings' short time as Foster Parents, the two different sides of Marybeth and how she basically picked a ‘mask’ to get what she wanted. She also gets a job as a waitress. AND she winds up pregnant with her fourth child, Timothy. Who suddenly passed away at three weeks old. She steals money from various sources, and then tries to poison HER HUSBAND. To top it all off, and end Part Three, Marybeth (shockingly) winds up pregnant with, and gives birth to, her fifth child.

August 22, 2022 Ep. 18: Emma 'Straight Eight' Oliver. Key thing to know: if you owe her $3, just pay her back...
We're back! After Kendra got a little brain recovery from her vacation, April is starting us out this week with the tale of Emma Oliver, a 1930s-40s sex worker in San Antonio, Texas. After a string of arrests throughout the 30s and 40s, Emma seemed to have reached the end of her rope in 1949 when she stabbed a male acquaintance to death over $3 that he owed her.
After being found guilty and sentenced to death it was determined that along with an unknown history of her childhood, she also had signs of organic brain damage, and it was stated that she was psychotic and had only limited contact with reality... The state of mental confusion and type of symptomatology seemed to indicate a definite schizoid type of psychosis. So was Emma a cold blooded killer? Or a victim of untreated mental illness and circumstance?

Kendra continues with Part Two of (???) covering the case of Marybeth Tinning who had 9 children, between the ages of 11 days and 4 1/2 years old, that all died over the course of 14 years. Part Two will discuss the deaths of her first three children, starting with her third born, Jennifer, who was born with hemorrhagic meningitis and abscesses in her brain. She died never leaving the hospital. Within 2 ½ months following her death, her older siblings Joey, aged 2, and Barbara, aged 4 1/2, both suddenly also died. Suspicions begin to arise about Marybeth and whether or not she had something to do with the sudden and shocking deaths of her oldest two children.

August 10, 2022 Ep. 16: Found Frozen in a Walk-In Freezer: The Tragic Death of Kenneka Jenkins
April brings us the tragic case of 19 year old Kenneka Jenkins who attended a hotel party with her friends one night in 2017. Instead of the night ending with fun memories and laughter it ended with confusion and frustration when Kenneka disappears somewhere inside the hotel. Despite numerous requests by her mom to view hotel camera footage in order to try to find her daughter, and calls to the local police department, she was blocked in every way. 17 hours later Kenneka was found deceased, frozen to death, in a walk in freezer that was located in one of the hotel kitchens. This case has been debated over and over and multiple theories have been given as to what really happened that night, so this is our discussion on this absolutely heartbreaking case.
If you would like to research this case on your own and watch the footage that has been released of Kenneka walking around the hotel and the path she took before she wound up in the freezer, please do. Will try to fix it before next week 🤦‍♀️* Kendra is doing another deep dive, multi-parter covering the case of Marybeth Tinning who had 9 children, between the ages of 11 days and 4 1/2 years old, all die over the course of 14 years. The causes of death varied and were listed as natural, undetermined, or SIDS. But with each child's death, questions began to arise more and more about Marybeth. Was there a genetic problem? Was she just terribly unlucky? Why did she continue to risk having children? Those close to her went from feeling sympathy for her, to puzzlement, and finally to suspicion that Marybeth had something to do with the deaths. Part one will cover Marybeth's own childhood and upbringing and whether or not it played a part in her future actions. Thomas Quick was once known as Sweden’s worst and most gruesome serial killer, confessing to killing 30 victims between 1965 and 1991.
Thomas is charged and convicted of eight of the murders.
And, in 2008 he WITHDREW ALL HIS CONFESSIONS and by 2013 ALL OF his convictions had been overturned and he was released from the hospital a free man.

July 21, 2022 Ep. 11: Where is Brandon Swanson?
It's another missing person episode, Kendra style. 19 year-old Brandon Swanson had just finished his first year of college. After attending an evening party with friends, he left around 12am on May 14th, 2008, to drive the 30 miles to his hometown of Marshall, MN. He got his car stuck on the way home and after calling his parents to come help him, there was confusion about his location, and so he stayed on the phone with them while he walked towards the lights of a nearby town. Suddenly, while talking to his dad, he yells out, "Oh Shit!" And the call drops. And he seemingly disappears into thin air. This case is crazy and Brandon hasn't been seen for over 14 years ago. Anyone with information leading to the whereabouts of Brandon Swanson, please call Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department at (507) 694-1664.
