Tonight Kendra will take us back to the late 1800s - early 1900s, and introduce you to the Black Widow of the Heartland, Belle Gunness, our other female serial killer of the week. Who appears to have maybe, probably, most likely, killed up to 40 victims, and gotten away with it all.

Following a string of 'bad luck' Belle lures in men who answer her advertisement in the ‘lonely hearts column’ and come to visit her at her farm, and are never seen again.

It all seems to come to an end when her house burns down and a woman’s body is found inside.

But anyways, tonight is April’s case! And we’re going way back to the 1600s people, so she can tell us all about one of the most prolific female serial killers that you may not have heard of and there isn’t a lot known about her. But, it is said, she is behind the killing of 600 men. Without ever touching any of them. Her name? Giulia Tofana. She operated behind the ‘facade’ of a beauty and makeup store, and secretly was providing women with a way to get out of the awful, abusive, forced marriages they were trapped in during this time period. How? Murder of course. 

And we go off on lots of other tangents throughout, because that tends to happen when we get together and it’s late at night. It’s fun for all! Unless you were a piece of shit husband back in the 1600s…

Part Two! It's a long one guys, but Kendra has a hard time condensing information when she's got so much of it rolling around in her head...you should see how long some of her FB posts are. But, she finishes telling April the story of the Stayner family and how they just couldn’t seem to catch a break when it came to their sons, Steven and Cary. During part two we finish up with Cary, who seems to have gone the complete opposite direction from his brother on the moral compass. Instead of making the best of what life threw at him like his brother Steven did, Cary seemed destined to bring pain to others from a young age. He did not act on his violent urges until he was in his 30s, but when he did, he shattered numerous lives and families within a time span of less than five months. This week's story is actually going to be a two-parter because there’s just too much to fit into one episode!

Join Kendra as she tells April the story of the Stayner family and how they just couldn’t seem to catch a break when it came to their sons, Steven and Cary. They go through the absolute worst and just when you think it can’t get worse, it does. During part one we begin with Steven, who at the age of 7 years old is kidnapped by a piece of crap named Kenneth Parnell. Miracuously, after over 7 years he escapes and saves another young boy in the process. Following his return he has to overcome many other obstacles. All of which leads into the story of his brother, Cary. Which will be covered in Part Two, and it’s a doozy also. So tune in next week for the conclusion!

So back in July of 1976, in Chowchilla, California, three men carried out a mass abduction/kidnapping of an entire school bus of 26 kids (aged 5-14) and their bus driver after a day of summer school. They stashed all of them in a truck that was BURIED underground and left them there. They then went home to call in a ransom. However, things don’t go quite as planned for the kidnappers. They underestimated Ed the bus driver and the children. And this is one true crime story with a happy ending. 

Has anyone else heard of this?? I hadn’t! So down the rabbit hole I went and I just had to share the story with April. And with all of you.
