Casey Burch joins us to talk about growing up Catholic, her conversion and salvation, and how God used the traumatic birth of her children to grow her faith.

John Trustman sits down with Noisy Narratives to share his childhood experiences growing up Jewish and attending boarding school. Author Gloria Ashby sits down with Noisy Narratives to talk about her book, "The Three Women of Advent." The book covers Elizabeth, Mary and Anna, and provides plenty of points for discussion. Pam Byers is a member of Frisco First and sits down with Noisy Narratives to share her story of parental abandonment, trauma, and discovering the love of Jesus. Her story demonstrates how healing can happen after incredible adversity, and how God uses community to mend broken hearts.

Carol Kleckner, Frisco First member and current ESOL program director, joins us in a passionate conversation about all the well meaning phrases she learned about God that turned out to be wrong. Carol was a Children's Minister in a previous life and offers amazing insight in how we teach our kids the Bible and what it means to be a follower of Jesus. You don't want to miss!

Breshell West and her husband Connor and their families are part of our Frisco First family. Breshell sits down with us and talks about growing up in an abusive home, building resilience, becoming Miss Utah and meeting Connor. She shares how she feels God was with her through it all, and how forgiveness has healed her heart and allows her to move forward free of bitterness. Breshell's story is full of of ups and downs, and her sense of humor and ability to find joy in the hard moments will touch your heart.

Minister to Preschoolers, Kay Barker, joins the Noisy Narratives pod to discuss the upcoming parent seminar with Megan Michelson from Birds and Bees. Kay provides some helpful advice for parents, and points to resources if you are trying to figure out how to have these conversations with your children.

Megan is coming to Frisco First on Tuesday, November 12th from 6:30 to 8:30pm. She will offer simple tools for parents, as well as proven strategies for how to have conversations with our kids surrounding body image, puberty, sex and more.

Jenny Fletcher (Saville) sits down in the Noisy Narratives guest chair to discuss her experience as a teenage model and moving across the world to follow her dreams. Jenny shares how God impacted her life through difficult challenges, and how He walks with her when she is fighting the perfectionism in her head.

We are kicking off season 5 of Noisy Narratives a little later than usual because Debbie was on sabbatical for the month of September, but we are excited to be back! Christy, Debbie and Laura do a deep dive into the emotional college-drop off, and Debbie talks about trips to Utah and California.
