Noisy Narratives

Jennifer Morgan joins us in our last Noisy Narratives Pod of season 4. Christy leads a discussion on where our hope for eternity is found, and how our understanding of who we are in Jesus shapes our view(s) of the future. We will be back in the fall for season 5. Have a great summer everyone!

Boy on Billboard is a moving portrait of a man struggling with mental illness, and his family's desperate attempts to help him. Lisa and Meg explain how the show seeks to demonstrate the constant up and downs of loving someone who wrestles with significant internal battles, while at the same time handling the material with love and care. Their sense of humor and realism is attractive in this space because tragedy can often overshadow joy. They are both immensely talented and we are very grateful to have this time with them!

Allison Bobbit and her family are long time Frisco First church attenders and members. Allison shares her journey with breast cancer, praying through boundaries with an alcoholic father, and how God has saved her from herself. Her gratitude and joy come through as she is sharing her story and we hope you are blessed by her testimony.

Jennifer Morgan is a friend of the Noisy Narratives podcast and we sit down with her to discuss how women often feel shame in our failures, and how God's love for us shines even in those moments.
