  • Non Serviam Podcast #52 - Technological Non-Utopianism with Lena Gunn
For NSP 52, we spoke with Lena Gunn of the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
Lena was born in Costa Rica and immigrated to the U.S. as a 27 year old adult. Before EFF Lena worked in journalism, international development and in the tech industry. She studied the emergence of Open Source communities in Latin America, and later worked as a trainer, qualitative researcher, and media producer with Human Rights groups in the field. She has worked as a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager for different tech companies and non-profits. More than a technologist she's always been a writer. She lives part time in San Francisco and part time in Costa Rica. She has a dog and loves to dance. She's really into visual art but, "I can't draw to save my life." She is autistic and temporarily really into birds.

  • Non Serviam Podcast #51 - Debating Reactionaries with Charles G. Koch
For NSP 51, we spoke with online wolverine, individualist anarchist, radical liberal, and avid good-faith debater Charles G. Koch. We discuss podcaster Dave Smith, the Mises Caucus, strategies for combatting reactionary beliefs, and why Charles still identifies as a libertarian.
Wikipedia will tell you that Charles G. Koch is an 87-year-old American businessman with an estimated net worth of $62 billion, most known as a financial backer for several libertarian think tanks and the secret source of all your problems. At the twitter @ worst_account, Charles G. Koch has never denied this description, but also represents himself through a painting of a wolverine in a suit and posts posts from an individualist anarchist perspective. Sometimes these posts seem to imply that he is a graduate student in philosophy. You decide.
