EMERGENCY SUITE: COVID 19 or why we should have taken this as seriously as Matty did?

Alright, everything will be alright...right??
This is part 1 of 2, where I snipped all the COVID Corona Virus segments we did and smooshed them together around some poignant music.
We hear from Evan and Matty at the start of the pandemic (recorded March 1st written in mid Feb) where Matt regales Evan with his existential dread and Evan tranquilizes Mamoo, or attempts to..This is the one where Matt pulled a Nostradamus and predicted everything aside from the #BLM demonstrations.
Told ya so!
We then hear from the illustrious Heather the Commie, 4th wheel on the pod, discussing the socio-economic and racialized intersectional dynamic and push backs, we basically talk all the politics, and most of the economics!
The last segment, is Evan and Matt having a playful good time talking about the Great Toilet Paper Drought of 2020! Among other anthropological matters (perspectives and experiences that speak to the cultural and social dynamics at play).
I will pump the next one out tonight, then for the rest of the week...its ALL the US Politics! Just to give ya’all something to ponder while fighting off proud boys at the polls....

Alrighty Folks, what in the name of holy hell was that shit show?!? Looked more like a Train-Wreck to me! Well, lets agree that we both feel pretty bleak afterwards.
Matty slid some Violet recordings in the middle to add some levity, the clip at the start was from the first NBC Segment after the debate.
Matty sets the tone early with an empathic love-a-thon on Biden and his neuro-degenerative composure under that onslaught. We then gab about the moderation, or lack thereof, and then get into some analysis (that took 1 min, nothing was said!!). We then get into some conspiratorial chatter about Q-Annon and some anti-Semitic spit ballin when it comes to Canada’s own, The Proud Boys ***google with caution folks, they are great at seeming like ‘fun-lovin bros’ which is in reality as pathetic veil shielding their racism and violence*** (Gonna make Evan do a segment on them I hope)

Kicking things off Matty fills Epen in on his “fuck of a last three weeks” which included; losing a golf match, shamefully having to buy bubble tea, a major and embarrassing concussion (numero 38 I think), forest fire apocalyptic smoke, a COVID test and most importantly of all, Matt started a Farmville Farm.
Then Evan and I start deep diving on the politics of modern forest management principles, including indigenous principles, and of course Swidden Agriculture! Future episode for sure, such dorks we are..
We then hear from OG Paul about the depths of his political existential despair in relation to the QAnnon conspiracy and the dumbing down (uncritical nature) of American Society and how this relates to the impending presidential election.
OGP takes us home with some extra sad discussion on the passing of Chief Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and how impactful her life and career was to American’s interested in positive progress, justice and equality.
