We cap the week with some hockey talk -- today, Matt Noonan welcomes Katie Zimmerman to the show to discuss her first official season coaching the Western New England University women's ice hockey program. 

Zimmerman was named the program's first-ever head coach prior to the 2019-20 school -- unfortunately, Covid-19 did not allow the team to compete this past school year, so as she told Noonan, it was certainly "worth the wait" for their first game earlier this school year against Anna Maria College.

Brett Lorin, who is the host/producer of Too Tall Sports Podcast, joins Matt Noonan for a fun -- and yes, enlightening! -- conversation about content creation, including hosting and producing a podcast to producing content on Instagram and TikTok. 

Lorin, who joined our show back in May, chats about transitioning from playing minor league baseball to hosting and producing a podcast, as well as what he has learned over the last year (or so) about being a content producer in Los Angeles.

After making his debut on the Noontime Sports Podcast in September, Jimmy Robertson, who is the FDU-Florham football coach, joined Matt Noonan for a brand new show to discuss the Devils' 2021 campaign, which concluded with the program's first-ever ECAC Bowl victory last month over Saint Vincent. 

FDU-Florham was one of many great stories in the northeast region this fall as the Devils won seven games for the first time since the program produced an eight-win season in 1993. Additionally, last month's bowl victory was the team's first in three attempts. 

In addition to chatting about the 2021 season, Robertson talks with Noonan about a few other topics, including what an offseason is like for a small college football program, recruiting, and restarting a podcast from earlier in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Following Jeff Moore, Dan Mulrooney, who is the head coach of the Anna Maria College football team, joins Matt Noonan to discuss his squad's exciting 2021 campaign that include a pair of firsts: a conference title and a a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Mulrooney reflects on his team's seven-win season and looks ahead to a busy offseason that will include some camps he will be running outside of New England.
