Do you ever find yourself saying that some things just "can't be done" or some people just "can't be happy?"
In this weeks episode, I talk about how our childhoods have prepared us for a life of restriction, of "can't" rather than a lifetime of "can"
I talk about how parents hold their kids back from truly growing & expanding to their full nature and how YOU can tap into the tools of "reparenting" to unlearn this conditioning and start living your best fucking life.

This weeks episode is part 1 of a 2 part series where Kaela shares her experiences with predators and grooming. She explains why her experiences on the internet as a young person with a very active and engaged parent have shown her there is no way for the Internet to be a safe space for children.
Starting on twitter as young as 12 years old, Kaela experienced grooming and predatory behavior from strangers regularly well into her late teens, including sending and receiving mature content, engaging in 'sexting' and sharing personal information with multiple strangers despite being taught better.
This is not an observation or critique of anybody's parenting, including her own Mums, rather this is her way of taking the power in the situation and using her experience to educate parents that may not know how easy it is for their children to hide these things.

After being disappointed in the quality of the last few interviews , Kaela found herself unmotivated to create any new content, so she decided to take a couple weeks off. Around the same time, another COVID lockdown was looming over her community and the misinformation being spread online left her feeling more isolated from her community. She took some space and realized that in trying so hard to be a "perfect" person, she lost a lot of traits that were really valuable to her. She talks about the things she's doing to return to herself, and to feel better in her skin.
