One of the sweetest passages in all of Scripture, this text shows us how God confirmed the covenant with His people with blood, pointing us forward to the new covenant in Jesus' blood. We even get to look forward to the eternal wedding feast of the Lamb, in His presence forever.

God was gracious to Israel in that He told them what their new, redeemed life should look like. But the question is, how do we bring it forward to today? Or should we even? This debate has gone on for 2,000 years, but listen here as to how we are to see the Law and go forward with Christ.

He who has been forgiven much will forgive much. And the more we understand our brokenness and need, the more we will worship Jesus and will love others.

We celebrate that God is merciful, but we must not forget that He is also holy. That holiness is what makes His mercy so amazing--and it is what should change our lives every day.
