September 2023 marks the 25th anniversary of North Metro Church. In 1998, a group of people felt compelled to start a new thing, and those founding members had no idea what God would do over the next 25 years. This special Christmas Eve message reminds us of God With Us. In Matthew, he is trying to tell us that God is not God above us, not God created us, or not God knows us, but that God is WITH us. The same God who came near to Adam and Eve is the same God who wants to come near to us. The same God who moved in power back then is the same God who wants to move in power in our life now.

This series will focus on the characters of Christmas that we find in the Bible. In today's message, we take a look at the story of Jesus' birth and zoom in on Herod. Herod had a fear of relinquishing control that we can all relate to, but we have a good King who rules over our lives.
