Guest speaker, Stuart Hall, finishes our series on how Jesus prayed by reminding us that He has all we need so we can trust Him.

This week we go back into the The Lord's Prayer and focus in on how Jesus asks us to pray that the Kingdom of Heaven would come to earth.

Although Jesus related to God intimately as Father, He also quickly helped his disciples understand that we are not to treat God casually. He is Holy. There is never a good excuse to speak to God like we would a buddy.

As we begin the series, we will look to whom Jesus directed his prayer. There is an intimacy in which Jesus approaches the One True God that had not been seen before. We will also lay down the principle; It's not just what you say, it's how you say it.

When someone else hurts us, we want justice - though the problem is in life that usually never happens. God has given us a way to bury the hatchet that we would least expect, forgiveness. As we close this series, we will walk through the biblical process of forgiveness to find that freedom in Christ from what we've been holding on to.

So far, we've seen that relationships can bless and hurt us. For those that have hurt us, we can't begin the process of burying the hatchet if we don't first identify who has wounded us and how they have wounded us. This week the goal is to uncover our specific hurts and wounds as we remember that our Savior invites us to come to Him with our pain and sorrow to find rest in Him.

Last week we said that relationships are a blessing - but, let's be honest they aren't always. Instead of blessing us, relationships can hurt us. Philemon's relationship with Onesimus gives us insight into this reality. This week we will begin the process of recognizing the hurt that exists…
