The greatest gift of Christmas is the beautiful reality, depth, and meaning of the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross to redeem all of mankind from their sins and offer them eternal life in Heaven with Him. Today we'll be looking at three ways that Christ sacrificed for us and how we're called to respond to such immense and immeasurable love!
How do we know what path we should pursue in life? Is there a roadmap for this winding journey we all find ourselves on? Can we truly navigate the dark highways of sin and fear? As believers, we're constantly told to "trust God" because His will is always for our good. Plenty of bestselling books and famous preachers have reenforced adages that echo the words of the prophet Jeremiah: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (29:11)
But, the truths about God's most sovereign plans and purposes go much deeper than we realize. Listen right here as we discover six incredible truths about God's plans and purposes.
All Christmas long we’ll be discovering who Jesus really is and why He left the glory of Heaven to come to earth. From the depth of His sacrifice and greatness of His power to His most sufficient purposes and plans, this is a God who we stand in awe of each and every day, not just at Christmas time. And it’s our hope and prayer that you’ll join us on this extraordinary encounter every Sunday in December as we “Behold Our God.”
Special thanks to Damali Mirembe Manyindo, Founder/Director of Sonrise Baby Home, for joining us at Northside Bible Church today to share her personal testimony, mission update, and heart for orphans. We were blessed by her message and inspired by her work as always!
How can we live with a clean conscience before a God who is able to see and know everything about us? What do Old Testament sacrifices and three-dimensional diagrams of the Tabernacle have to do with any of this? Listen as Pastor Stan shares how we can live with an awakened conscience!
Every Christ-follower must endure hardship, suffering, and spiritual warfare in this life. How can we answer the call of our Commanding Officer and stand strong in our faith even as the Enemy closes in all around us?
Teaching Shepherd Kendall Rogers wraps out his two-part series with a look at Matthew 16:13-20.
Northside might only be 50 years old, but the global Christian Church is well over 2,000 years old. We stand on the shoulders of great and meaningful churches who had prevailing influence throughout the ages. We’re going to spend the next two weeks with teaching shepherd Kendall Rogers studying how to practically and daily live within the history of the church!
What does God mean when He says He will bless those who are obedient? How can you experience some of those blessings? There's more to it than you might think!
Jesus says there’s two kinds of faith: damning faith and devotional faith. In 1 Corinthians, we’re called to test and evaluate our faith! Which kind of faith do you have and how does it measure up?
Pull up a seat and join us right here for the next installment of Pastor Stan’s “Superpowers of the Faith” series as we take a look at what is truly one of the most humbling and eye-opening passages in all of Scripture.
