In Psalms 23 we are told that Jesus makes us lie down in green pastures. This sermon gives us a new perspective on what the green pasture in our lives actually is.

Matthew 28:16-20

Faith is one of the hardest aspects of the being a follower of Christ. This sermon gives us a real life example of what it is to take a leap of faith when everything in the world tells us not to. Just as Jesus showed throughout all of scripture, we are challenged to take that leap.

Session 2 - Mark 2:1-12, Luke 12

Jesus was on mission and calls us to do the same. Unfortunately many of His followers are stuck paralyzed in their own problems that they cannot even fathom being on mission. In order to do mission we need to walk in Jesus’ freedom, living not out of a condition but out of His calling. We must see how God has gone on mission after us and then calls us to go on mission in the world.

John 4:1-10 

One of the most powerful sermons that Jesus gave was not the words that He to the Samaritan woman but the fact that He intentionally went to Samaria. Following Jesus means a radical call to justice, to care for those who are different than us. Justice is the heart of God and therefore must be the heart of all of His followers.

On Sunday October 1, 2017 Las Vegas experienced one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history. Pastor Christian encourages us, as followers of Jesus to respond to tragedy in radically different way: weep with hope.

Northwest University honors our young alumni and alumni of the year. Stephen and Sylvia share about what it has meant for them to follow Jesus into their different fields of work after their time at NU. Following Jesus means serving the world wherever He leads us.

Growing up as a missionary kid from Africa, Sylvia experienced a culture shock moving to the PNW at the age of 16. Her story is a message of hope and perseverance for followers of Jesus.

There is no doubt that there are a lot of distractions around us. Pastor Christian challenges us to not be conformed by this world but for us to be transformed by the Word that is given to us.
