In the Early 90’s two Noxubee County men were tried and found guilty for the murders of 3 year old Christine Jackson, and 3 year old Courtney Smith. Despite both crimes involving the same initial suspect, Both men were found guilty and sentenced to death by the state of Mississippi.

In 1992, Ray Krone was convicted and sentenced to death for the rape and murder of bartender and friend, Kim Ancona.

Ron Williamson and Dennis Fritz were convicted in 1988, in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, of the murder of Debra Sue Carter. Her body had been found six years earlier. Fritz was sentenced to life in prison. Williamson was sent to death row.

The Ford Heights Four were formerly imprisoned convicts who were falsely accused and convicted of the double murder and sexual assault of Lawrence Lionberg and his Fiancée Carol Schmal in Ford Heights Illinois in 1978.
