Nostaljunk Podcast

This week is a full-length WATCH ALONG episode! Matt is joined by John and Jamie from HORROR DADS, and they watch one of the most controversial horror movies of the 1980s--not CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST--A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET PART 2: FREDDY'S REVENGE (1985). They also discuss their top Christmas Movies...? This episode was recorded only a few days before SHUDDER released SCREAM, QUEEN: MY NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET documentary, which chronicles MARK PATTON's struggles as a young gay actor, in 1980s Hollywood (re: AIDS epidemic and homophobia), and how the aftermath of FREDDY'S REVENGE marked his exodus to parts unknown... EXCELLENT DOCUMENTARY - MUST SEE!

As JAMIE attempts to join JOHN of the HORROR DADS on the call, MATT sets-up our next episode of the NOSTALJUNK PODCAST, as the three of us watch and provide commentary on "the gayest" horror movie A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, PART 2: FREDDY'S REVENGE! Aptly timed too, as MARK PATTON's beautifully touching documentary SCREAM, QUEEN: MY NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET was only released on SHUDDER just days after recording this watch-along episode.
