Morgan also discusses how she has developed as a player during her career, but more importantly how she developed her identity outside of sport. Morgan has found a deep passion for mental health and shows her advocacy through creating her brand @shop_pursuitofpositivity which is a clothing line that revolves around ending the stigma surrounding mental health.

Alex Parra is not a one-time but a TWO-time cancer survivor. Alex was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, also known as bone cancer, at the age of 15, resulting in the loss of his leg (which he chose to do by flipping a coin)! After learning how to walk again and beating cancer, Alex continued to get scanned routinely. In 2018, Alex was re-diagnosed with Lung Cancer with a 10% chance of survival.
Against all odds, Alex ended up being in that 10% which can be connected to his grounded and positive mindset.
In this episode, Alex provides great wisdom about focusing on what you can control, being your own biggest fan, and mindfulness. Alex also discusses how he is currently training as a Paraswimmer for the 2024 Paralympics.

Carly Reed is a Former UNC Women's Lacrosse player, current nutritionist, and is the founder of the clothing brand "On the Line Club". In this episode, Carly talks about how her journey with health and fitness began and where her passion for wellness sparked.
Her approach to health is very unique and she provides insight on her belief that we as humans should incorporate habits that are going to make us feel our very best, not necessarily what will make us have the lowest number on the scale. Carly also dives in to the ups and downs of being a female entrepreneur and starting her own business on her own.
Carly also brings awareness to Hashimoto's disease as she has been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease herself and discusses her struggles and the lifestyle changes she has made as a result. She gives outstanding advice to all of the student-athletes listening in regards to getting involved in using name, image, and likeness to start a brand and to get the right deals.

Episode 12 is with Kylie Ohlmiller, Stony Brook Women’s Lacrosse alum and current Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse League player. While at Stony Brook, Kylie was a part of the change that turned Stony Brook into a top tier program. Kylie was a two-time American East Conference Offensive Player of the year and two-time Tewaaraton Award finalist.
Kylie also founded KO17 lacrosse, where she leads training sessions, events, and offers guidance in player and person development.
In this episode, Kylie discusses her recruiting process, taking Stony Brook from being ranked 70th to 1st during her time there, lacrosse as a career path, and her experience playing for Athletes Unlimited. Oh and of course we have to talk about her dog Oakley!!

Charlotte North is the guest featured on this episode of Not A 10! Charlotte absolutely dominates on the lacrosse field, as she helped guide Boston College Women's Lacrosse Team to a national championship in the 2021 season and is the recipient of the Tewaaraton Award. In this episode, Charlotte discusses playing sports growing up, and what it was like navigating a National Championship during Covid.
While Charlotte excels in the lacrosse world, Charlotte also dives into how she identifies herself beyond being a lacrosse player. She talks about what she values as a person and what she values in the people she surrounds herself with.

Jack Jablonski became a quadriplegic on December 30th, 2011 after being hit during his high school hockey game. In this episode, Jack dives into what his journey looks like, and how he keeps his positive and hopeful nature alive even during the darkest of times.
Jack is the founder of the BEL13VE in Miracles Foundation, a foundation that supports spinal cord injury research. With his work in his foundation, Jack truly embodies what it means to take something bad that has happened to you and do something positive with it. Maggie Lyons is with us on this week’s episode to discuss her personal experience with mental health. Maggie has battled with anxiety a large sum of her life and was shortly diagnosed with depression when she came to college and discusses her struggle with suicidal thinking.
Maggie was ultimately faced with one of the hardest decisions of her life as she had to choose between her own mental health and playing college lacrosse at Virginia Tech.
Maggie’s vulnerability is a reminder for student athletes, and for everyone out there, that it is okay to be struggling and it is okay to ask for help.

We have Anna Callahan on this episode of Not A 10! Anna is #10 (shoutout!) on the Duke Women's Lacrosse Team. Anna is an absolute ball of energy with the best vibes possible. On this episode, we dive into Anna's transition to her freshmen year at Duke and how an injury, her sexuality, and the pressure she put on herself, lead to her struggling with her own mental health.
Anna shares how though reluctant at first, sought out help through her Behavioral Health Specialist at duke and how that has truly helped her regain her confidence to be her full authentic self.
Anna works closely with the Non-profit "Morgan's Message" to help reduce the stigma that surrounds mental health and provide resources for student-athletes.
