  • More Than What Happen to Me | #012 | Part 1 | Not A Perfect Christian

Episode 12 — More Than What Happened to Me | Part 1 🎙️

Sometimes staying busy looks like moving forward… when really, you’re just trying not to stop long enough to feel what still hurts.

This week, I realized I’ve been keeping myself busy while still healing from everything that happened in San Francisco. Then a message at church reminded me of something I needed to hear:

What happened to me is not who I am.

My plans may change. Relationships may change. Life may not look the way I expected. But my identity doesn’t have to change with my circumstances.

I’m still learning. Still healing. Still growing. ❤️🙏

  • More Than What Happen to Me | #012 | Part 2 | Not A Perfect Christian

Episode 12 — More Than What Happened to Me | Part 2 🎙️

Sometimes God uses the smallest moments to remind you that life is still moving forward.

A simple “God’s Plan” shirt started an unexpected conversation with a couple who shared their experiences doing missionary work around the world. Later that night, I joined a new pickleball group, met new people, laughed, and realized something:

My story didn’t end in San Francisco.

I’m not saying everything is completely healed. I’m still figuring things out. But I’m learning that moving forward doesn’t mean forgetting what happened—it means not allowing what happened to define what comes next.

God is still working. Life is still happening. And I’m still taking one step closer to Him. ❤️🙏

  • Living Ready | #011 | Not A perfect Christian

For the first time, Not A Perfect Christian has a face. After ten episodes of only hearing my voice, I decided it was finally time to sit in front of the camera and let you see the person behind the microphone.

And I couldn't have picked a more meaningful episode to start.

After everything that happened in San Francisco, I was still healing, still carrying disappointment, and still trying to understand what God was teaching me. Then I walked into church and unexpectedly saw John Bevere as the guest speaker—the same person whose Guard Your Heart message I had talked about just a few episodes ago.

I opened my notebook and started taking notes.

But somewhere during the message, I realized God wasn't just giving me something to write down.

He was challenging the way I live.

Do I simply believe Jesus is coming back—or am I actually living like I believe it?

This episode is about waiting, faithfulness, priorities, and preparing our hearts for eternity while still enjoying the life God has given us.

    I'm still healing.
    I'm still learning.
    I'm still figuring it out.

    But maybe that's the point.

I don't want Jesus to find a perfect Christian. I just want Him to find a faithful one.

Welcome to a new chapter of Not A Perfect Christian. 🎥🎙️

  • Broken Plan, Still Faithful | #010 | Not A Perfect Christian

Episode 10 — Broken Plans, Still Faithful

    Ten episodes.

When I started Not A Perfect Christian, I never imagined that the tenth episode would be the most personal and difficult story I had shared.

I spent months preparing for my first full marathon and planning what I believed would be one of the happiest trips of my life. Instead, I arrived in San Francisco with an injured knee, deferred the race until next year, experienced painful misunderstandings, and came home with a heart that was still trying to process everything.

This special milestone episode is about more than a marathon or a road trip. It is about grieving the future we imagined, learning to release the plans we cannot control, and choosing to trust God while we are still hurting.

I did not come home with a medal.

I came home with a lesson:

Our plans can fail, our bodies can fail, and relationships can become uncertain—but God’s faithfulness never fails.

Thank you for walking with me through the first ten episodes of this journey. I am still learning, still healing, and still figuring it out—but I am grateful that God has remained faithful through every chapter.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Still learning. Still growing. Still figuring it out.

  • Unshakable Faith, How Do You Enjoy God's Blessings Without Drifting Away From God? | #009 | Not a Perfect Christian

This week I share what I learned from church about standing firm in a world full of different voices and opinions. We talk about spiritual drift, why protecting biblical truth matters, and how easy it is to slowly move away from God without realizing it.

I also share a little life update before marathon week, time on the boat, and why God sometimes teaches us through ordinary moments.

I'm not a pastor. I'm just someone trying to know God a little more every week.

  • Guard Your Heart | #008 | Not A Perfect Christian

A trip to Disneyland. Honest conversations. A road trip podcast. One question that changed my entire week.

I thought God was teaching me about dating. Instead, He showed me He was teaching me about surrender.

Join me as I share what I learned about guarding my heart, keeping Jesus first, and why the greatest relationship we'll ever have is the one that shapes every other relationship.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." — Proverbs 4:23

Because when Jesus has your whole heart, everything else finds its proper place.

  • Look And Live | #007 | Not A Perfect Christian

    What has your attention?

That was the question I heard at church this week, and honestly... I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Behind the smiles, work, school, marathon training, and everyday life, I found myself quietly battling overthinking, loneliness, and questions about the future. Then God led me to Numbers 21, where one simple command changed the way I saw everything:

    Look and live.

In this episode, I share how God reminded me that it's easy to become so focused on our fears, goals, and unanswered questions that we forget His faithfulness. Maybe peace isn't found when every problem disappears. Maybe it begins when we lift our eyes back to Jesus.

If you've ever felt like you were carrying a battle that nobody else could see, I hope this episode reminds you that you're not alone.

  • Don't Waste Today | #006 | Not A Perfect Christian

This week, God taught me something I didn't expect.

After my mom asked why I would spend money to run a marathon, I started asking myself a deeper question: Why do I keep chasing dreams?

Between a 72-hour work week, exams, tennis, marathon training, and reflecting on several moments when I almost lost my life, I realized that every day is a gift from God.

Then something happened at church that completely changed this episode.

Join me as I share how God reminded me that life isn't just about working hard or chasing dreams—it's also about learning to rest, trust Him, and not waste the gift of today.

  • I Missed Church And God Still Showed Up | #005 | Not A Perfect Christian

I missed church this week—and honestly, I felt guilty about it. Between a big tennis match, helping my grandma after her washing machine broke, marathon training, long work shifts, and life moving faster than expected, I wondered if I was falling behind spiritually.

But God reminded me that He's not limited to a church building.

In this episode, I share how a canceled work shift, a laundromat, a game of bingo, a podcast, and one simple question—"Have you looked at the cross?"—completely changed my perspective.

Sometimes God's greatest lessons happen in the ordinary moments we almost overlook.

🎙️ Join me as I share another week of real life, honest faith, and the reminder that we're all still figuring it out.
