In this 21st episode we had the honour of speaking to Chris Chandler Yates.
Chris is a former New Zealand Police Officer turned motivation speaker, podcaster and fitness guru.
He spent 10+ years in the Police where he moved from frontline, Road Police and to eventually Diplomatic Protection Services.
He spends most of his time training and inspiring the next generation wanting to join the New Zealand Police. He takes them through a 12 week course where he individually trains and prepares participants for the Police recruitment process.
In this episode he speaks about his Highs and Lows in his career. He further speaks on the dangers of Burning out in the job and having a supportive whanau around can make a difference in your career.

In this 20th episode we have the pleasure of speaking to Craig the founder of Mates matter charity organisation and a Movember ambassador.
Craig speaks on dealing with his personal experiences with depression and wanting to commit suicide. He also shares how he got out of that state of mind and how he wants to help others in his community who are dealing with the same issues he went through.
Craig shares his passions of sport and his role models in his life. We dedicate this episode to his family and partner who supported him in his time of need.

In this 18th episode we have the honour of speaking to Matiu Leonard.
Matiu is a current Senior Station Officer Firefighter based in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton area). He has dedicated his life to this career and shares with us his experiences in his role.
Matiu is an awesome role-model in the community and is currently trying to fight for better working conditions, pay and equipment for all his crew throughout Aotearoa.
It was a blessing and privilege to speak to Matiu and we definitely Tautoko him and his endeavours for the future.
Lastly don’t mistake Matiu from the lead singer from @six60 @Matiu. He always gets mistaken for him due to his singing skills and great taste of music.

Kia Ora Team! This is the 17th episode and we have the pleasure of speaking with Iripa.
Iripa is a current Physical Education Officer for the New Zealand Police and based out of the Bay of Plenty.
He shares his experiences of working with Auckland rugby and the Warriors as a strength and conditioning coach, assisting officers trying to pass their PCT and get into Police specialist groups like Armed Offender Squad.
Iripa is fluent in Te Reo and shares the language as a celebrant. He also stars in the Aroha Nui webseries on TVNZ based on Maori celebrants.
