African American culture has desensitized the term “baby mama.” What used to mean a woman with a child, in no type of relationship, has became a negative reference to single mothers everywhere. It’s time we change the conversation and connotation associated with it. It’s starts with us; as a culture, community, and our societal acceptance of things commonly associated with being black.
