The man known as 11 is many things. He's a small-business owner, anime aficionado, online game developer, future Mahjong champion, and presumably world-famous detective or something. His passion project Billy vs. SNAKEMAN is a browser-based online role-playing game that parodies anime and anime culture in the west. It runs on old-school PHP and Perl scripting, and its deceptively simple introduction gives way to a surprising amount of depth with a stunning variety of mini-games and mechanics, and a story that somehow hopes to tie all of it together.
In this interview, we talk about how the game came to be, the design decisions that go into each release, future plans, and how Retail will slowly kill your soul.

OkCupid is a fairly popular dating site and mobile app, but not everyone has a positive experience. They say there's someone out there for everyone, so clearly that's reason enough for some folks to blame everybody but themselves for their loneliness. After allowing the critically-acclaimed HBO series to ravenously consume my life, I decided Game of Thrones could be good fodder for another round-table discussion podcast, so I sat down with some friends to dive deep into our favorite characters, fan theories, and glaring plot holes. The discussion wound up more chaotic than critical, but I think it turned out funnier for it.
