Inspired by The Self-Love Fix podcast, Okannawa spoke about five uncomfortable truths in life that she has come to terms with. There are many things in life that make us uncomfortable that we must come to terms with them in order to grow. When we do not acknowledge these truths, we become uncomfortable with ourselves. Okannawa’s five uncomfortable truths included dealing with change, emotion, envy, intimacy, and self-image.

In this episode, Okannawa touches on what men and women bring to the world, astrology, Instagram polls, and relationships. She begins by talking about some of the responses to the polls put on the Instagram story pertaining to topics such as cheating, dating your best friend, and liking people that you shouldn't. Okannawa then discusses her opinion on astrology, specifically Libras, and Tinder, touching on experiences she has personally been through. The moral of the story that Okannawa emphasizes is that women run shit and bring so much emotion and nurture into the world. The world would be messy with just men and they could not survive one day in a women's shoes.

Episode 15 starts off Women’s History Month by featuring Tik Toker, Francesca Dior. She talks about how social media has impacted and shaped her life, negatively and positively. Francesca gives perspective on what life is like in the public eye as a young creator. She does well with hate and finds humor in the way people talk about her. Tik Tok is not where her ambition ends- plans of college and law school are in the midst. Success can teach an influencer so many inspirational values. 

In episode 14, Okannawa brings in two guest speakers to discuss their experiences with growing up in a southern, non-white household and coming out as part of the LGBTQ community.  Because society has had such specific religious, political, and personal beliefs for so long, people are often unable to be accepting of change or difference.  Okannawa’s friends spoke about how their family members weren’t incredibly supportive of them because of this, even encouraging them to be straight after they came out.  But regardless of race or gender, we should be able to love who we love, without the need to defend or explain ourselves.  Therefore, they hope in the future that people will become more supportive, encouraging, and accepting of the LGBTQ community so that younger generations won’t have to deal with the struggles that they did.
