My 5 year anniversary of getting shot happened this week, and I always use this time to reset, reflect, and remember life's fragility. The war in Ukraine has shaken the world at it's core, fears of escalation have never been greater, and headlines are indicative of how sick our society is right now, so I think we're all in need of a little "evaluation." As we try and navigate this new normal of daunting headlines and grim prospects for the future, I wanted to not only capture this time in history, but also think about how to balance the big picture scary things, with not forgetting the every day blessings we do have.
There are journal prompts that I highly suggest you journal:
What is something you can do now, that you couldn't do last year?
Do you celebrate the things you have?
What can you do right now to feel more alive?
