Estee is back at work after taking a 12 week maternity leave. Postpartum is a wild ride and she’s been fortunate to have flexibility in her work life to enjoy time with her family and work around her son’s schedule. Estee discusses how she changed up her work life before pregnancy and how having her family has inspired her and given her the confidence to work on growing her wedding planning company.

Estee Levin interviews Caitlin Silverstein LCSW about all things pregnancy, postpartum and the importance of having a therapist during these periods of life. Caitlin has an in person practice in Commack, NY and also practices virtually in NY and FL. Caitlin has an upcoming support group hosted through The Nesting Place for depression and anxiety through motherhood which is truly beneficial for all new moms starting Wednesday April 23rd.

Estee Levin sits down with Melanie Palmeri of Mindful Red Barn to speak about fertility, pregnancy and postpartum. They discuss Melanie’s experience as well as all the things she offers for moms to be, new moms as well as kids. The barn offers classes in yoga, reiki, meditation and art classes for kids. On episode 2 of Not Your Average Mom, Estee is giving insight into her own fertility journey. IVF is a journey that many go through however we don’t always hear about the IVF stories that aren’t for fertility, but more so for genetic testing and Estee is shedding light on this and hopes her story can help others who are on a similar journey.
