As fitness and nutrition coaches, Kara and Kylie want you to understand that your personal health journey is a journey, there is no quick fix. With this podcast they hope to give you the right tools and education to reach your goals.
A journey isn’t a linear path. There are ups and downs and detours. Both Kara and Kylie found their journeys bringing them to the same point, but in very different ways. For Kylie, her journey has brought her to competitive body building while Kara’s goal was just to live a healthier and fitter life. Both coach people through the beginner - intermediate stages of their health journey in a way that fosters personal development and self-growth.
Both Kara and Kylie started having issues with negative body image and unhealthy attitudes toward food from a young age. For Kara, she found herself in constant cycles of fad diets until she began a year of restriction and binging. She was running her body into the ground and knew something had to change.
Kylie had fostered unhealthy internal beliefs about herself from a young age and felt she needed to people please. Her body image was linked to her self-worth and she was relying on others for external validation.
Both Kara and Kylie signed up for coaching and quickly realized the benefits, physically and mentally. Now, after meeting through the community, they are here to help others find their passion, confidence and food freedom.
