What must it feel like to jump out of an airplane? Lots of folks can answer that, I'm sure. What does it feel like to jump out of an airliner, though, carrying $200,000 in cash with you? Only one person can tell you what that feels like, and we've never been able to find him.
Join Ramesh as he discusses one of the most daring criminal heists and hijackings in history, and how it might have gotten solved using today's technology.
NBT is back! From where? From 3 months of silence, from COVID, and from....INDIA! Yes, Ramesh was on the other side of the planet, and has some interesting insights to share about India's criminal justice system, police, and how they compare to the U.S. You might be surprised at what he has to say, and you might not. Either way, hop aboard and please bring others with you.

I've enjoyed focusing on private investigations--and we won't stop talking about them altogether--but there's a whole world of experiences from my 22 years as a homicide investigator (and my six plus years in uniform) that I want to share with you. Death investigations, crazy people and crazy crimes, murder trials, trips across country-- and to other countries--to interview witnesses and extradite fugitives...it's all the real deal, no Hollywood bs as my announcer lady used to say.
Looking for true crime? The inside scoop on how homicide detectives work? Hop on board, I promise you an enjoyable ride.
"Learn from other people's mistakes," my old firearms instructor from the police academy said. "You'll never live long enough to make 'em all yourself."
Hundreds of prison inmates have been released from their sentences after DNA testing of
evidence. In 75% of those cases, there was also mistaken identification of the defendant by a witness.
Law enforcement learned that they had to change the way they show photo lineups and talk to witnesses--the double blind -- method has been adopted, and private investigators need to understand it in depth, for not only their own interviews and photo showings, but to conduct effective criminal defense investigations as well.
Knowing your craft is step one. But unless you are investigating for fun and charity, you need to learn how to bring home the cash too! Detective Ram shares some of his successes--and pitfalls--to help you turn your private investigation efforts into a money maker.
NOTE: Ramesh Nyberg is NOT a financial planner or business coach. Ram is just sharing some ways in which he connects with attorneys (the best source of repeat business) and a few strategies you can use to "join their club."
He also shares the name and author of his favorite networking book!
