I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Sunday morning, it's the 17th of December, 2023, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. Luke 1:37:

"For with God nothing will be impossible."

What a beautiful promise from the Lord. We must not 'tie' God's hands through unbelief. You see, if we look at Hebrews 11:6, the Word of God says:

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

My dear friends, God does not tell lies. He can't tell lies because it's not in His nature, Numbers 23:19

"God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"

We have got to believe if we want to receive a miracle. You see, Mary was a young girl; they say she was very young, in fact, maybe in her late teens. But when the Angel of the Lord came to her with a message from God, she chose to believe what God said. If Mary had not believed or rejected it, she would not have had the privilege of being the most blessed woman ever living on this earth. She had the privilege of holding God in her Womb for nine months and then raising Him up - Emmanuel, God with us. For 33 years, she was his mother on earth. It's an incredible miracle. We must not hold back the miracle God wants to perform in our lives through unbelief. 

I want to pray for you: 
Heavenly Father, I pray for my dear friend listening to this message.
Lord, they have been waiting for that miracle, some for many years.
It took Abraham and Sarah years to realise their miracle, but they did not stagger through unbelief. 
Lord, I pray for my dear friends today that they will start to thank You for the miracle which is coming, which they cannot even see yet but which they are trusting You for, in Jesus' Name, amen.
