After the mad laughing scientist attacks the party causing many explosions, the party searched the remaining rooms, and located a room where some strange experiments have taken place, one more gruesome than the next.  The party was able to rescue and befriend a dog that survived the experiments, and the deity Cayden Cailean offered a blessing to the party for their selfless act of kindness to the animal, a patron symbol of Cayden Cailean!  And with time slowly ticking away, the party delves deeper into the Grey Garrison, to find the source of the Black Miasma, and to stop the oncoming army from obliterating the city of Kenabres.

Once exorcising the loot from the hidden armory in the Grey Garrison, the party's resolve is solidified, and they press on the clear the Garrison out of evil, and stop the source of the miasma, in hopes that it shoes the oncoming army that we have control over the city once more.  If they fail, the city will be destroyed by the oncoming army, looking to purge the evil from Kenebres.  As the party continues downward, some laughing is heard, along with documents that show recent demon activity, and plans for further destruction, but what does this all mean? Demons are rarely this coordinated, who could be controlling them?

Finally inside the Grey Garrison, the search is on for the source of the Black Miasma that is choking the city of Kenebres, and to purge the evil that has taken residence in the garrison!  All the while they party tries to find the solution to the missing puzzle sword in the newly cleansed alter of Iomedae. The creatures that have taken hold is same foul creatures that attached the nearly destroyed library with Sortok's mentor, Aravashnial.  It is very possible that the two events are connected, and that the party will run into more trouble than they are prepared for!

Once inside the Grey Garrison, with less than a day to stop the black miasma from engulfing the city of Kenebres, and before the allied army comes to destroy the town, the party finds an alter to the deity of Iomedae, a good aligned deity, but that alter has been desecrated by the demons that have seized control!  While trying to maintain caution, but pressed for time, the party presses forward with their mission, and to solve the mystery of this desecrated alter!  Will the party finish in time, and will they survive the horrors that have taken hold in the Grey Garrison?

Quickly after the Graboid exploded, saving as many guards and hedge wizards as they could, the party rushed towards the Grey Garrison, the believed source of the mists that are so lethal that is spreading throughout the city of Kenebres.  Once at the castle gates, the mist still present, and quickly running out of time from the protection of the Safe Passage spell, as the Wizards and Guards rush back to Eaglewatch Citadel, the party notices some guards patrolling the borders of the Keep, and the mist is conspicuously absent near the guards.  Is there some magic protecting them, or something about the creatures that repels the mist, as the party investigates.

As the entourage of people, The party of heroes, and a team of wizards and guards, reach a crevasse that is impassable, and that disappears into the dark mist.  Sortek starts to devise a plan to manipulate gravity to pull the group across, but some feel that the single spell may not be enough, and at the last moment the group decides to use one of the items retrieved from Quickthisle, the black pearl that magnifies gravity.  As the group is pulled across, something else is pulled out of the mist as well, and it is large, and unhappy about being pulled into the air!

Finally finding out from the Priestess that created Conner, among others like it, that Conner was beyond repair, and seeing the dejected looks, and dire circumstances of the state of affairs sends with the Sir Ren, a paladin of Pharasma, a large human in shinning full plate.  Now given a mission to hunt down the source of the horrifying mist that transforms all living things into horrifying beasts soon enough that the oncoming army doesn't raise the city to the ground.  Just before leaving, the party gears up with supplies from Quickthistle's market!

Once brunch was over, drinks were had, and spilled over the loss of one of their own, they try to speak to the one person that had any hope of healing. . . fixing their friend, and answering some questions about Conner's origin, the priestess.  Not knowing if they'd be welcome, since they now know Conner's secret, they tried to sneak to where they priestess and her operation was hiding, using a combination of magics to mask their location.  Once they finally found the priestess, they were welcome with open arms, to the alarm of the party, and through discussion, it was discovered that Conner was not salvageable, but the priestess ordered her newest knight Sir Ren to protect the party in their desperate attempt to save the city.

Welcome to Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gamed, and our Pathfinder 2nd Edition podcast.  We are playing Wrath of the Righteous!  It is a Pathfinder adventure path from 1st edition which we will be converting into Pathfinder 2nd Edition.  Listen to us talk about what characters we are thinking of playing, as well as the work we already done to convert some of the player options.  Listen to us joke around, talk shop, laugh, and have fun as we get amped up for our new campaign.

The party has been through a lot since they first met, they even lost one of their team, and almost lost another.  So the party needed to take a moment to rest and recover, as well as to let loose some information about what is happening that may be affecting other members.  Artura started to talk about the entity in his head, and the party had a one to one talk with the entity, and things got heated!  Nell is also dealing with the fact about what happened earlier as well, so they tried to air all of their concerns!  Tune in next episode when brunch ends!
