We had an emotional roller coaster ride with our guest Rob.  Rob suffers from ComplexRegional Pain Syndrome or CRPS.  Rob recently underwent a below the knee amputation directly related to CRPS.

Rob is currently an active duty Master Chief in the United States Navy, serving his country for almost 25 years and has persevered through a tremendous amount.

Rob takes us through his journey of first discovering of his diagnosis with CRPS, up through the amputation and where he's at currently in the recovery/physical therapy session.

Cult expert Rick Alan Ross is our guest for episode 15.  Rick takes us through some of the different cults around today to include Scientology.  He also educates us on how individuals (including intelligent people) can succumb to and be susceptible to becoming involved in cults.

Rick has worked for the Cult Awareness Network and has been featured on several programs including 48 Hours, ABC News and Fox News to name a few.  He was also a technical advisor for Ubi Soft's "Far Cry 5". 

Rick has also "Deprogrammed" two Branch Davidians from Waco sect of the Branch Davidians. 

Rick scratches the surface with when he discusses the things to look out for if you suspect that your family member or loved one may be going down the path of joining a cult.

This episode is a rebroadcast from our sister podcast. It features retired USAF Pararescueman (PJ) Brent. Due to security reasons, we've purposefully kept Brent's last name private. I first met Brent twenty-two years ago in Amphibious Reconnaissance School.

Brent started his career as a Navy Corpsman serving with Marine Corps infantry. After the first Gulf War, Brent screened for and was accepted into the Marine Corps Reconnaissance community. After meeting and working with Air Force PJs, Brent decided to get out of the Navy, join the Air Force and become a Pararecueman. And the rest, as they say, is history. Brent talks to us about going through the training pipeline, his time as a PJ and his recommendation for those wanting to take the PJ path.
