Join me as I interview my friend Mary Sprenger (Host of Healing While She Rises Podcast) as we talk about past trauma, infertility, faith and healing. Mary and I met several months ago and connected instantly through sharing similar journeys in our lives. Though several years (many actually) separate us the stories we share connect us on a different level that knows no age.
With a rich background of 9 years in nursing and a significant chapter as an Army Reserves nurse, Mary's experiences have woven a tapestry of service and empowerment.
Her journey has led her to create "Healing While She Rises," a coaching program where she guides individuals towards profound healing, encouraging them to take ownership of their lives and break free from cycles that hold them back. As the voice behind the "Healing While She Rises" podcast, she extends her mission to a wider audience, sharing insights and stories that foster resilience and growth. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is a fervent advocate for the infertility community, sharing her personal journey to parenthood with openness and hope. Her love for food, books, and deep intellectual conversations fuels her soul, adding depth and joy to her journey of helping others rise.
As we embrace the "Seasons of Renewal," women navigating the transitions of becoming empty nesters or entering into retirement are encouraged to see these changes not as endings but as the fertile ground for new growth and self-exploration. This is a time for reimagining life, reinforced by the wisdom gained through years of caring for others and professional endeavors, and buoyed by the faith that guides and sustains through each season.
As you journey through your own seasons of renewal, may you find joy in the exploration, strength in your faith, and profound fulfillment in the discovery of what’s next. Remember, every season holds the promise of renewal and the potential for transformation.
This short podcast offers a vision of embracing life's transitional phases as avenues for personal and spiritual growth, purpose discovery, and healing, offering listeners a perspective that melds introspection with hope and empowerment.

This episode explores the power of love, and the anchoring force of family in the fight for wellness, and the personal journey that unfolds when a young soul is tasked with fighting an unexpected battle.
Welcome back to 'Two Lenses, One Journey: The Daughter’s Path' promises not only to underscore the courage it takes to face each day but also to shine a light on the tender, triumphant human spirit that emerges stronger from the battle.
As my daughter shares her story we hope this episode will offer support, understanding, and inspiration to those touched by similar struggles, creating a connection through shared experience and the hopeful message that even in the face of life’s greatest challenges, there is light, strength, and healing to be found.
Through the eyes of a mother, we explore the complexities of supporting a loved one faced with such a challenge—the fears, the hopes, and the strength found in moments of vulnerability. Then, shifting focus, we hear from the daughter, whose youthful spirit and warrior heart paint a picture of suffering, strength, and the faith to dream despite any odds.
Each episode, divided into two intimate parts, dives deep into their individual and shared experiences—from the moment of diagnosis to the peaks and valleys of treatment, the lessons in love and resilience, faith and the pursuit of healing beyond the physical.

In life's march forward we are reminded we don't get do overs. While we might not control every outcome we do have the ability to shape our journey through decisions and actions. Instead of waiting for things to happen, locked in inattentiveness and self doubt we can move toward a life of purposeful work, intentional living, healing and self-worth. Aligning our actions with faith, we invite God to do what we can't, turning our wishes into tangible wills.
