Today Liz is joined by Hiram Larew. In addition to a distinguished career in agriculture, Hiram is a poet. He brings his special poetic energy to help shine a light on the experience of hunger--both short term and longer term.
In this episode, Liz and Hiram discuss the relevance of hunger and food insecurity, some history of both, and what it means to be human as we face the rising incidences of hunger in our communities. Hiram reads a moving poem from his endeavor Poetry X Hunger.
