I can't believe I finally recorded a video for this podcast. While a little nerve-wracking and ultimately new territory, I'm excited to see the response. Happy Birthday to me! I'm 29 today and overly contemplative; what's new? Lots of questions about growth, evolution, and the continuing story of Jason, Nelson, and Kyle as they come that much closer themselves. Following Shadow Moon through the world of the gods leaves much to the imagination. Lines blur fantasy and reality, and all that's left is more questions. So if you're wondering why I don't spend much time on the book's plot, instead soliloquizing on the meaning of life and everything there is to not know about changing in the process. If you were ever wondering whether aliens exist, just know it also comes with difficult, scientific analyses, and conversations on what does it mean be human, when we inevitably find out. Luckily, all of that has been condensed into this lovely book and tv series, with quite a few differences to work through, that I've done all the work to dissect. To look out into the world and see the return to the traditional ideas and values of yesteryear, Margaret Atwood puts a scathing lens on the reality of women's existence in a socialized world conditioned to the exploitation and subjugation of women.
