NOW YOU MADE IT AWKWARD

Last week we asked you guys for questions and some of yall came through so that we could get to know Jefe better! Such as what is your favorite hot rod or do farts have shapes?

It was a mixed bag. Thanks Shaun.

Also since Jeff watched it, we go over Space Man again and learn about therapy via giant space spider.

And finally we discuss the new Ghostbusters Frozen Empire film before we go see it!

SHOKY-

We're back this week discussing further improvements to the Shoky Cave. There's also been some health problems with men of our church, so keep praying for Pastor James. Also we talk about some shop related injuries.

More importantly the armorer from the Rust movie has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter and the trial of Alec Balwin is next!

This week Jefe and I both saw Dune Part 2! We have our Good, Bad and Ugly for it! We did forget to give a number rating though. Also Jeff had a lot to say as a Dune Book nerd. Which does call into question: what is canon exactly?

So I finally seem to have a prospect for co-host. Meet Jeff.

This episode we basically talk about the end of The Grand Tour and what the last couple decades of automotive content from these 3 men have meant to us. It's a lot of car talk this week!

James has come back to visit the show this week! I learn quite a bit about his history with dating 2 different women named Shelly at the same time. We go over Netflix live action adaptations of our favorite shows like One Piece and the newly released Avatar: The Last Airbender.

And well.....one of those got decent reviews.

Also leading to a discussion about English dubbed anime vs original Japanese voice actors. All while sampling some of the bourbons I have on hand here in the Shoky household.

Did you guys know that there is convention for haunted houses?

This week Mike has returned! And since I have a Canadian on hand I finally get to have a discussion I've had on my mind for a couple months now.

WARNING: WE WILL BE DISCUSSING SUICIDE

If you cannot handle that then I thank you for checking out the episode. The rest of you can join us as we go down the rabbit hole that is the MAID program in Canada and the idea that healthcare has now become more akin to deathcare. Want the unedited version of this and every podcast?

Happy New Year! Finally back for the first show of 2024 at the tail end of January.

Sorry about that. It's been hectic. Dante joins me to talk about the rise in animosity and hate in just every day people.

We discuss where this strange divide originated. Was it JUST the internet and Social Media or did it come from the Before Times with the birth of reality TV?

This was a fun one and there is new merch available: https://shoky-reviews-store.creator-spring.com/listing/now-you-made-it-petty?product=369

It's the last show of the year and it's just Shoky at the helm. It has been a long and crazy 2023. Full of strife and struggle and greatness and failure. So let's go over the best things I've purchased, along with the Top 10 Best and Worst Movies and Tv Shows of 2023!

Dante and Shoky back at it again. Life has been chaotic for the last few months slowing down production on the show, but at least things are starting to look up a little. Do you guys remember Captain Planet? Great show for us 80s kids to learn about ecology and treating the world and other people with respect and love. Also punny bad guy names. Recently I went to see Godzilla Minus One. Fantastic film, highly recommend. And then we discuss anti-cancel culture and the return of Alex Jones along with how some online creators are more worried about gate keeping than sharing experience and knowledge to let others come up.

Back from the Holiday week, hope yall had a happy Thanksgiving. Dante is back because he's a podcastic machine of greatness. We discuss the rising cost of groceries and how even a small family is paying a fortune to eat like normal. I finally have someone to discuss the finale of Loki with.

Ultimately we discuss the first of the Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials and the woke messaging that has destroyed a once great sci-fi series.
