NOW YOU MADE IT AWKWARD

This week I have a special guest. Former Youtuber turned pastor:  @JamesatWar

We discuss Supernatural lore on God, angels and demons compared to Biblical lore. However we also get into A.I. and it's role in humanity's future. Is it the end of us? Or maybe it was the beginning of us. And we get into whether humanity's social, mental, spiritual and physical degradation could be what leads to the true end of days.

This week Gen V season 1 has come to an end with a heck of a setup for The Boys season 4. Loki is coming to a close with a multiverse shattering episode which ties into the Across the Spiderverse movie that Shoky watched this week.

Marvel seems to be having more issues with their series and movies having major re-writes including the upcoming Blade movie. Also Blumhouse knocked it out of the park with the Five Nights at Freddie's movie. Well done even if some so called fans didn't like it.

Disney decided that with competition happening and major backlash already they're taking their live action Snow White back to the drawing board. Jonathan Majors isn't out of hot water just yet and Marvel may be pivoting to Dr Doom from Kang now. Also Facebook disabled the "Back" button for no good reason.

This week Mike has returned! Maybe it's a sign that the NYMIA crew is finally.getting back together. We discuss PTSD and how small things can seem that really damage us. Also the #itsumemario trend has returned so we debunk it. Then we get into Marvel's issues specifically what happened to the new Daredevil series. And Mike talks about his first experience doing a panel and a new Comic Con in his town.

After a short vacation I'm once again joined by Dante from   @So.You.Like.Horror.Podcast and @colomptonbeerclub3637.

Renaissance Festival has begun, a bit less eventful than last years. Loki Season 2 is in full swing and just as good as ever. Shoky watched Meg 2 The Trench which was terrible. Dante has been cranking through horror movies for October, one of which Shoky reviewed with him. Check that out over on the "So, You Like Horror?" channel. And the Taylor Swift journey continues for our loveable Dante.

I talk about Mrs Shoky's recent car accident. Also New Amsterdam is a terrible show trying to imitate another terrible show: Grey's Anatomy. Never go full Grey's

We discuss what #Ahsoka is doing for the #starwars universe. How it's unfair that Shoky has to wait to watch #shoresey because CANADA.

This week Mike joins us for a while (see episode 67.5 on Youtube) and we discuss some issues I've had recently with my family. Leaving me and my wife to feel basically ousted from the Shoky clan. Have any of you dealt with something similar? Let us know in the comments or email.

RIKKI-

SHOKY-

This week we are back with progress on my medical issues, turns out its more about my back and neck than I would've thought. A great big hurricane was on the way (has since passed through) Florida. The #ashoka  show, after just 2 episodes seems like it's already in trouble with fans who can't seems to grasp simple ideas like: characters grow older and can change.

Rikki also just got back from a weekend trip to New Jersey to check out #BOTCON and fills us in on all the fun we missed.

And last we do have a visitor this week. A listener and commentor: J. Who brought plenty for us to look at and quite a few questions. Check out the PATREON for full uncut version.

So this week I discuss an ongoing heath problem that has been getting worse and my doctors couldn't quite figure out. I watched a good and then a really bad horror movie which leads to Rikki making a terrible life decision against advice.

I started watching The Righteous Gemstones and What We Do In The Shadows, both good shows with some gripes. Also for some reason Taika Waititi is coming back to do Thor 5. NO. JUST NO.

We finally get to discuss Marvel's Secret Invasion and just what the hell went wrong with that show. Also let us know in the comments if you think that Marvel was setting up Captain Marvel to be the center of the next chunk of the MCU.

In other superhero news DC's Blue Beetle was a massive flop on it's opening weekend. Are people just done with Super Heroes or is it just bad timing on DC's part?

We also get into the nitty gritty of the now CG Production studio strike piggy backing on the other 2 major Hollywood strikes leading to a discussion on how much money is your suffering worth?
