According to the NPR Math Guy Keith Devlin , all of the mathematical methods he learned at university have become obsolete in his lifetime. Devlin, the director of the Stanford Mathematics Outreach Project and Executive Director of Stanford’s Human-Sciences and Technologies Advanced Research Institute, says we need a new kind of math education for a new era.
