In the Middle East, Israeli forces have launched a series of strikes in Iran, targeting nuclear facilities and killing several top military leaders. In response, Iran has launched missiles and attack drones at Israel. President Donald Trump says Iran now has a “second chance” to agree to a nuclear deal following Israel’s preemptive strikes on its nuclear program. He also warned that if Iran refuses, it could face even more severe attacks.

India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has launched its probe into the cause of Thursday's Air India crash. The sole survivor spoke to a local reporter Friday from his hospital bed. Officials have also recovered the aircraft’s black box, which may shed light on the crash that killed more than 240 people on board.
