President Trump issued a new executive order today modifying the scope of the reciprocal tariff. Under the order, certain agricultural products—including beef, bananas, and coffee—will no longer be subject to the sweeping tariffs implemented earlier this year. The White House also announced a new trade deal with Switzerland, with Swiss companies agreeing to invest 200 billion dollars in the United States in exchange for a reduced 15 percent tariff rate.
