President Donald Trump welcomed the Saudi crown prince to the White House today. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman pledged to boost Saudi Arabia’s investment in the United States from $600 billion to $1 trillion.

House lawmakers voted overwhelmingly to compel the Justice Department to release the Epstein files. The U.S. Senate has agreed to unanimously pass the bill and will send it to Trump once it arrives. The president has previously said he will sign it if it reaches his desk.

A three-judge panel today blocked a congressional map redrawn by the Republican-led Texas legislature. The new map could have given Republicans five additional seats in the U.S. House.
