Over a hundred people are dead after hurricane Helene sweeps through multiple states. North and south Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia are affected the most. Almost three million people throughout the South were left without power.

A strike at U.S. Ports could start tomorrow if there's no agreement with the longshoremen's union on a new contract. The strike would force shutdowns at 14 ports in major cities from Boston to Houston. The work stoppage is expected to cost the U.S. economy billions of dollars a day.
