NthCast - A Nerd Podcast

61: The boys are back and have something to say about Batman v Superman! Although, they're not sure where to start...

It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. It certainly could have used a better script. A lot had to be established for the DCU. Did it accomplish that well. Did it sacrifice story to set up the Justice League? What did you think?

We also reminisce on movies we loved as kids and discuss if they still hold up today. Some of our picks may be controversial. Let the hate mail begin...What movies from your childhood don't hold up?

We put on our Douche Hats and delve into 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'. We couldn't help but discuss classic literature along the way and extol the virtues of reading the classics vs a diet of only current, popular fiction.

Basically, this is a filler episode until we discuss Deadpool next week. Did you think we weren't aware?

57: Warning- We don't discuss movies, tv, or anything nerdy really in this episode...this is all about telling stories. Specifically stories about that time when we almost died...When that happens you should take a look at how you are living your life and make a few adjustments. One such adjustment is being more appreciative and showing others more appreciation.

That said, we appreciate YOU! It's been an honor that you've let us pass time with you. We hope to continue to do so for a long time coming...

56: Bone Tomahawk

It seems we've turned into a 'Western' movie appreciation podcast as we round out out trilogy of Western movie coverage with the excellent independent production, Bone Tomahawk. This excellent film is a must see for Kurt Russell fans, Western aficionados, and anyone who enjoys a fresh take on a genre without being disrespectful to all the movies that came before it. We try not to spoil this one because we know not enough folks have seen it yet. We hope you take a chance on it, you won't be disappointed.

Let us know, what you think of the movie and we'll continue the discussion.
