NthCast - A Nerd Podcast

We assume you've seen it, so if we spoil anything that's your own fault. We dive deep into what we liked and didn't like about the movie. Like why was Finn so out of breath in every scene? Don't Stormtroopers do cardio? And where did Kylo Ren's hair disappear to when he put his helmet on? Because when he took it off, it was totally bouncy and full-bodied. Must've kept it in a top knot...

Join us as we discuss Crimson Peak to a level that no one would probably ever care to know…

Episode 44: BLACK MASS!

1) We went to see the James 'Whitey' Bulger biopic to determine if Johnny Depp delivered an Oscar worthy performance. Was this movie worth your time and hard earned cash? Is it possible for Depp to play a role that isn't weird?

2) Metal minute: We talk about the super group Metal Allegiance and their new release. And everybody is on this thing...they have past & present members of MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, DREAM THEATER, LAMB OF GOD, SLAYER, EXODUS, MASTODON, PANTERA, TRIVIUM, KINGS X, HATEBREED, SEPULTURA, MACHINE HEAD, ANTHRAX, LACUNA COIL, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, PERIPHERY, DEATH ANGEL, JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, and ARCH ENEMY. That should be enough, right?

Check them out at: http://www.metalallegiance.com

3) And finally...the vote have been tallied. Who won the SUPERFIGHT? The segway ridin' Vampire Slayer or Burrito Slingin' Justin Beiber? You'll find out and you'll learn the next opponent for the Winner. (But really, with this segment aren't we'll all kinda the losers?)

We want to hear from you!

We also gave the movie 'The Dead Lands' a look. It's available to stream on Netflix.

And finally...we introduce our newest and best segment ever...SUPERFIGHT! What fighters will we be dealt? Will it be a fight to the death? Will Josh & JD destroy their already shaky friendship by playing this silly game? Find out!
