We start off with Tello criticising Lourdes’ curtains, but we soon segue into some fan updates. We finally get some positive feedback from Number Two’s children. Number Two prepares for her first non-Mexican birthday party, and we talk about some of the difference to expect from a Mexican birthday party and a non-Mexican birthday party. We briefly talk about the tragic shooting in Las Vegas, and we both conclude that we don’t know how to solve the gun problem in America. Lourdes has a great idea of how to implement background checks into other parts of life, and we finally get our arch-nemesis, Martha, on the phone to discuss her scathing criticism of the show. Number Two Cuz and Tello start off by recounting a disturbing text message conversation they had before the show started. After the poop talk, Lourdes tells us about the devastation that was Hurricane Harvey. Currently Beaumont is still without dependable, working water supply, and clean water and food are still difficult to come by since most roads in and out of the city are shut down due to the massive flooding. Sadly we lost our Aunt Marcela during this time, and we pay tribute to her the best way we know how.

Number Two Cuz and Tello begin with a tangent about psychotherapy and the potential benefits. Number Two Cuz talks about some issues she’s having with her mother-in-law. It might not be the typical issues, but she has to find a way to deal with it nonetheless. Lourdes tells us about an unauthorized charge on her husband’s credit card, and it reminds her of the time one of her children “accidentally” charged something to credit card that wasn’t approved. We have our first caller accidentally call into the show. And speaking of phone calls, we call our moms to check on them in the midst of Hurricane Harvey.
