NYFF is close to wrapping up, so we've gotten a good idea of how New York has reacted to all sorts of things. We discuss that, the rest of the fall festival landscape, some AFI odds and ends, and then turn to look at an earlier work from JANET PLANET director ANNIE BAKER, her 2017 play THE ANTIPODES. We discuss the world Baker creates in the play, where it departs from her earlier work, and what we find so compelling about her as an artist.
