In our most disparate trio of games yet, our three gamers discuss their 74th favourite video games of all time! As we reach the quarter mark in our countdown, a phenomenal phenomenon occurs with the first tri-peat of the series with Minty also reflecting on his interesting fictional existence! Elsewhere in this pun-tastic episode, Chris enjoys plunging his way down memory lane with a legendary Disney adventure and Jonathan once again reverts to his dastardly thieving ways! E3, or the Eideo Eames Eonference, has come and gone once again to delight and disappoint swathes of angry entitled nerds. We take a break from our regularly scheduled chat about three games to tackle the mammoth docket of Everything Nintendo Announced, and Whatever That Thing They Wheeled Out Keanu Reeves For was. We discuss each company's approach to showcasing their upcoming releases and, whilst Jonathan attempts to retain some PokéOptimism, Minty is jumping aboard the Pokémon Hate Steam Train (this is a joke that references the setting of the new games by way of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and Minty wishes he’d come up with it when we recorded), and Chris is ready to cross oceans to raise a riot in the Pokémon head office! In the most punctuated episode of Our Three Cents yet, Chris becomes an accountant, Jonathan becomes an anarchist and Minty becomes an antagonist!

Also, slammed own on the Our Three Cents round table of discussion by a Twitter fan is the matter of video game movies. Coming hot on the heels of our thoughts on Detective Pikachu, we dive into a deep dissection of literally EVERY video game cinematic adaptation ever made and those to come!

This week on Our Three Cents, Jonathan recalls how he lived out his best fantasy life in deepest Africa, Chris descends into a hypnotic claustrophobic nightmare to pass some time, and find out why Color Splash is the Titanic of the Paper Mario series.

Elsewhere, Jonathan has gone on an Indie Game spree tackling a series of games including a small, bespectacled scientist, a big ol’ face-rock and electrified tentacled atrocities. Chris had a few small weeps experiencing an Old Man’s Journey and Minty has been having a wonderfully idyllic time randomly naming a variety of chickens!

This week on Our Three Cents, the birds are singing as we take another eclectic trip down memory lane! Outside of the space sex, hard-hitting rhythmic punk and fishy mishaps that make up the boys’ rankings this week, you can find out if Detective Pikachu is the greatest computer game movie ever made!

This week the lads are all investing in their latest obsession in Konami Pixel Puzzle Collection, whilst Jonathan has been off shaking the Hand of Gilgamech in SteamWorld Quest and Chris has been gearing up for Borderlands 3! All the while, one of the Arsenal fans within the collective have been venting their frustrations in their team’s downward turn in New Star Manager! We also decide to throw around the very hottest of accessible potatoes where we discuss the recent discourse about notoriously difficult games and the potential inclusion of Easy modes.

Meanwhile in the rankings, Minty visits the spectral plain with a very spooky entry, Jonathan takes another adorable trip down memory lane and Chris gets his brain tied in a series of complex and metaphysical knots!

This week, in a total car crash of an episode, Chris burns out, Minty pokes a small boy with a dream and Jonathan takes a thoroughly leisurely stroll down memory lane - a lane lined with cows, turnips and Christmas disappointment! Elsewhere, we all get our Picross on thanks to Konami’s new mobile game, Minty tries his hand at Cuphead, and Jonathan sees Image & Form knock yet another genre out of the park first time in their new RPG, SteamWorld Quest!

In Our Three Cents this week, we have a Rare convergence - covering a full complement of video game tropes from border control admin to racist tigers, with ambiguous inter-solar nuclear operations in between!
